        Mantell piece discovered in Bensstead's quarry just outside Maidstone.Kent, 
        Left is the cast, now in the Bentliff Gallery Maidstone alongside the 
        drawing from W. Bensteads notebook. It is believed that Richard Owen invented 
        the word Dinosaur,(Terrible lizard) as a result of studying this group 
        of fossil bones along side the two other known giant reptile bone specimens 
        of this time.  |
